Leading US-based immigration law firm Corporate Immigration Partners P.C. (CIPPC) works collaboratively with the tech-enabled process and EoR solution company Pacston to find multiple senior business immigration attorneys.

The attorney hired will be responsible for preparing and filing employment-based immigration cases. Below we will discuss the job description in further detail while explaining who we are and who we seek for our firm.

Now, we are also hiring multiple Senior Business Immigration Attorneys who are eager to join our expert team on a full-time and permanent basis. Anyone hired for this prestigious role will need to interact with many coworkers in our company at all levels. Those employed will also be required to regularly interact with corporate clients and foreign nationals.

Additionally, since immigration law is incredibly complex and fraught with numerous challenges, this role requires a special personality skill set. The attorneys (and selected supporting staff) hired for this position need to enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced environment while not being adverse to being exposed to challenges handling an extensive list of employment-based visa types. What Your Job Duties Will Entail As A Business Immigration Attorney

Below we have briefly listed a few of the job duties you will have as a business immigration attorney at Corporate Immigration Partners P.C. (CIPPC):

  1. Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters.
  2. Develop an expert-level understanding of your client cases. This includes preparing immigrant/non-immigrant petitions with in-depth knowledge of the application process and requirements, specifically in EB1, EB2-NIW, PERM, I-485, L-1, H1B, O-1, or other non-immigrant visas.
  3. Manage various projects and deadlines and prepare, and revise documents.
  4. Be able to explain legal terminology to clients succinctly in a timely manner.
  5. Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
  6. Stay up-to-date on legislative changes that may affect immigration.
  7. Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
  8. Provide training to client companies and individuals on substantive legal topics and updates about new immigration laws and regulations.
  9. Partner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support all client projects.
  10. Regularly effectively communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy.
  11. Possess the skill set to assess the eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the U.S.
  12. Work with esteemed global mobility personnel and the office of general counsel. This will involve preparing petitions and applications for submission to the Department of Labor (DOL) and the respected United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for non-immigrant and immigrant status for foreign national employees.
  13. Supervise the work of paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation to ensure no mistakes are made.

The Skills You Must Possess If Applying For This Role

  1. A JD and current valid license to practice law in any U.S. state.
  2. Excellent English writing skills.
  3. 3+ years of employment-based immigration experiences.
  4. A passion for immigration law and a true desire to work with clients on employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions.
  5. Superb verbal and written communication skills; English grammar must be excellent.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and detail-orientation, alongside the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm setting.
  7. Ability to independently work on daily tasks, proactively and with minimal supervision.
  8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  9. Ability to always positively contribute to a work environment.
